Numerology · Life Paths

All twelve Life Paths.

The defining theme of a life, computed from the date you were born — Pythagorean reduction, master numbers (11, 22, 33) preserved. Pick a number to read the archetype, or compute yours first.

Master numbers · 11, 22, 33

In Pythagorean numerology, 11, 22 and 33 do not reduce to a single digit. Each is the higher octave of its base — 11 of 2, 22 of 4, 33 of 6 — carrying more signal at higher cost. Most people with a master Life Path can also live as the base number; the chart honours both.

What Is a Life Path Number?

In Pythagorean numerology, your Life Path number is the single most important number in your chart. It is derived from your full date of birth — month, day, and year — and represents the core theme of your life: the talents you carry, the challenges you tend to face, and the kind of work that fits.

The Life Path is fixed at birth and never changes. It functions as a lifelong archetype — not a prediction, but a description of the terrain. Think of it as the register you default to when you stop performing.

How to Calculate It

Reduce each component of the birth date separately, then sum the results and reduce once more. Master numbers 11, 22, and 33 are never reduced further — they carry the traits of their base digit (11 is the higher octave of 2, 22 of 4, 33 of 6) but with amplified intensity.

  1. Reduce the birth month to a single digit (or master number).
  2. Reduce the birth day to a single digit (or master number).
  3. Reduce the full birth year to a single digit (or master number).
  4. Sum the three reduced values and reduce once more. If the result is 11, 22, or 33, stop — that is a master number.

Worked Example: December 14, 1989

  • Month: December = 12 → 1 + 2 = 3
  • Day: 14 → 1 + 4 = 5
  • Year: 1989 → 1 + 9 + 8 + 9 = 27, then 2 + 7 = 9

Sum: 3 + 5 + 9 = 17, then 1 + 7 = 8. The Life Path is 8 — the executive archetype: capital, organisation, public weight.

Had the final sum been 11, 22, or 33 before the last reduction, the reduction would stop there. For example, a birth date that sums to 29 reduces to 11 — a master number, not 2.
