What we write about
Most astrology writing falls into two camps: Sun-sign horoscopes that say nothing specific, or academic papers that say everything to no one. This blog sits between them. Every article starts with real chart math — Western transits, BaZi pillar interactions, Ziwei Doushu palace configurations, numerology cycles — and works toward a question you can actually use the answer to.
Four threads run through most of it. The first is chart literacy — how Western astrology, BaZi, Ziwei Doushu, and numerology describe the same person through different frameworks, where those descriptions overlap, and where they part ways. We walk through birth chart elements (houses, aspects, pillars, palaces, life path numbers) with enough detail that you can follow The Oracle's reasoning in your own readings, not just accept the conclusion.
The second is timing. Electional astrology and BaZi date selection are practical tools for deciding when to act. When to sign a lease, schedule a launch, or hold off another week. These articles break down the method so you can see why one window is stronger than another for the specific thing you're weighing.
We also write about compatibility — not the Sun-sign shorthand you find elsewhere, but full-chart comparisons across traditions. And we write about the math itself: ephemeris tables, pillar derivation, palace assignment, numerological reduction — for readers who want to check our work or understand the calculation engine behind an Oracle reading.
