LEGAL · ACCEPTABLE USE

What you shouldn't do here.

A short list, honestly explained.

LAST UPDATED · 2026-04-18

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses Zodiacs, alongside our Terms of Service.

Don't

  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Submit birth data for a real person without their consent, except a minor child in your legal care.
  • Claim readings are professional medical, legal, financial, or psychiatric advice — they are not, and representing them as such may be illegal in your jurisdiction.
  • Represent yourself as a licensed practitioner of any regulated field (medicine, law, therapy) based on our readings.
  • Automate or scrape readings, charts, or interpretations through any interface other than a documented API key we've issued to you.
  • Reverse-engineer internal endpoints, attempt to extract prompts, or bypass rate limits.
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute readings or content without prior written permission.
  • Distribute malware, run denial-of-service attacks, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system.
  • Harass, threaten, impersonate, or dox any person — including via content derived from readings.
  • Mine cryptocurrency on our infrastructure or any Service-provided compute.

Content standards

Content you submit (free-text decision questions, outcome notes, names for relationships, etc.) must not:

  • Contain illegal material.
  • Promote violence, hate, or unlawful discrimination.
  • Exploit or sexualize minors.
  • Violate the privacy of a third party — including submitting detailed birth data for someone who hasn't consented.

Astrology-specific standards

  • No accuracy claims. Don't use Zodiacs output to make deterministic predictions about someone else's future (e.g. "Zodiacs confirms this person will fail"). The Service is interpretive, not predictive.
  • No employment, lending, or insurance decisions.Using astrological readings as a basis for hiring, firing, credit scoring, insurance underwriting, or any regulated adverse action is prohibited and violates US law (including ECOA, FHA, ADA).
  • No medical or diagnostic claims. Readings never diagnose, cure, treat, or prevent any condition. Treating them otherwise is prohibited.

Rate limits & fair use

We run reasonable request-rate limits per account. If you need higher throughput for a legitimate use case (research, editorial, journalistic), contact us before exceeding them.

Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate access for any AUP violation, with or without notice depending on severity. Fraud, illegal activity, and child exploitation are reported to law enforcement automatically.

Reporting violations

Found something that violates this policy? Report it to support@zodiacs.ai with "[AUP]" in the subject. We investigate every report.
