How It Works
The Sun Sign
In Western astrology, the zodiac sign associated with your birthday is called your sun sign. It marks where the Sun appeared in the sky on the day you were born — measured against the 12 zodiac constellations. The boundaries shift by one day between years, so people born on the first or last day of a sign may want to verify with their birth year.
Cusp Dates
A cusp date falls on the transition between two signs — typically the 19th–21st of a month. People born on these dates (April 19 is the Aries-Taurus cusp; February 18–19 is the Aquarius-Pisces cusp) often identify with traits of both neighbouring signs. The full date-specific pages note cusp status where relevant.
Beyond the Sun Sign
The birthday zodiac sign gives the solar frame — temperament, direction, and core character. A full birth chart adds the moon sign (emotional register), rising sign (the face shown to the world), BaZi Day Master from Chinese astrology, and numerology. Each layer sharpens the picture.
